Baja California Bird Bush
Ornithostaphylos oppositifolia

 


This rare plant is found only in San Diego County and Baja California.  It reaches a height of 6-10 feet and has smooth bark and narrow leaves with white flowers.  It can be found in hills of the coastal chaparral below 2,500 feet.
